Scheduled Hikes and Release
Welcome to this wilderness hike led by volunteers with the East Coast Trail Association. Be prepared to be impressed by magnificent scenery and solitude along our spectacular coast. This is not an urban trail but rather one intentionally left as unspoiled and natural as possible. You may have to climb rock outcrops or walk near cliff edges, etc. As such, hiking the trail inherently has a greater risk than a stroll in an urban park. Risks to a reasonably fit, prepared and cautious hiker are minimal. Certainly we feel they are worthwhile, considering the physical benefits of an active lifestyle and the beauty of the surroundings.
