It has been a while since I visited the ECTA website, because as a member of the association I get all the great updates on hikes and events from the e-mail news. I encourage anyone visiting this site to join the ECTA and get the newsletter, and all the other benefits that my husband and I have enjoyed for the past 5 years.

The ECT is one of the many fine things about our province. The ECT really shows off the true beauty of our clean, clear water and amazing landscape...some of the best Newfoundland has to offer!!!

Hiked a couple of small bits of the trail recently near LaManche, Tors Cove. Not only are the views magnificent but I was particularly impressed with the work done on the trail. Signs, steps, bridges are all first class. Be proud of the work you have done. Thanks, I'll be back to hike some more extensive sections.

Now that the snow is gone, I just can't wait to pick up where I left off last summer. I must say, the Spout was the jewel in the crown thus far, I'll have to wait and see what this summer's trekking will bring me, and when I get to the end I'll just start all over again. Great trail guys!
