I've been checking out this site for a couple years now and have been itching to go to Newfoundland to do these trails. Again this summer it didn't happen, but I'm planning on next summer now - 2010! My plan is to have my 2 sisters and my mom join me for some girl bonding and adventure!

Can anyone tell me whether, July, August or September is best?

I have been hiking the Doran's Lane, Red Cliff hike in the Outer Cove area for many years and was pleasantly surprised yesterday to see all the work done from Doran's Lane going up Torbay Point.. Excellent job done on the stairs and paths and the change in route along parts of the hike is also exellent. I would like to commend all the workers on a job well done especially considering that this is volunteer work.....keep it up.
