We had a very good time last in July/August last year. We hiked the most parts of the East Coast Trail and of the Discovery Trail (Bonavista). Special thanks to Elke Dettmer for organization and the first accommodation. Also to all other B&B's.
Our hikes are documented under

www.bmtravelworld.de

Best wishes for the further development of
the realy great East Coast Trail.

Hello,
This summer we will spend some weeks in Newfoundland with a RV.
We would love to do some day walks, also along the East Coast Trail.
- What is the best way to do daytrips?
- Is there a possibility to get public transport back to the starting point?
- What are the best parts to do a daytrip?
- Can you recommend other coastal walks along the island?
Regards

I love the East Coast Trail and I'd like to volunteer with the association but seeing as I'm not here during the spring/summer yet and too busy in the winters I'll have to wait until I graduate! Then I will help out if I can!

The end of winter wet cold weather created some fabulous ice formations on the trail. I'd never seen ice cover so many things and looks so beautiful and so menacing and the same time. Nice way to end winter and I am so glad spring is here.
